This group has been created to share information, explore technology, provide solutions, promote learning and collaboration, assist fellow editors and artists, and encourage professional growth. This group is obviously geared towards users of Final Cut Pro 7 and FCPX, but will also incorporate other tools as well.

Membership in the Seattle Final Cut Pro Users Group is open to all individuals at absolutely no cost. All you have to do to belong is participate! Join the mailing list or attend a meeting to get started! You can also find us on Meetup!

Meetings

Our monthly meetings include several informative presentations and tutorials from industry professionals using Apple’s digital media solutions and associated tools from related vendors.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Our regularly scheduled next meeting conflicts with the National Association of Broadcasters trade show. We are working to schedule the next group meeting.

If you are unable to attend the meetings in person, we will occasionally stream the meetings. You can find out if we’re streaming and view the stream at Live Monthly Meetings.

We’ll be meeting at Discovery Tools this month. This is in the Guitar Center building just off Mercer in downtown Seattle. You can find the entrance at the bottom of the stairs from the free rooftop parking. (We frequently head next door to the Wurst Place after the meeting for beverages, bratwurst and fries.)
